The fantasy cast of The Real Housewives of Washington D.C. would feature Michelle Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton and the fearsome Cheney sisters. Not only do these women wield real influence in the capital; they're also the ones you'd want on your side if you ever found yourself in a knife fight in a Hong Kong alley. But on Bravo, connections are less important than claws. So instead, interspersed with shots of the Washington monuments, we get five women on the periphery of the periphery of power, so far outside the marbled inner sanctum that it required a Watergate caliber break-in-now known as Salahing-to breach the gates.

The world waited with baited breath for the nuptials of First Daughter Chelsea Clinton to her longtime beau Marc Mezvinsky tonight. Details of the wedding were kept under tighter security than that of the Afghan military intelligence reports. Up until this afternoon, no one knew which designer Chelsea would be wearing down the aisle, aside from the bridal party and the designer who made the dress. Most people guessed Vera Wang would be the designer of choice for Chelsea, especially since she was spotted earlier this week en route to a Vera Wang boutique in New York City.
The first photos from the wedding, which was held at Astor Courts, a 50-acre estate in Rhinebeck, New York, have been released on CNN, courtesy of the Associated Press and Getty Images. The blushing bride wore a strapless Vera Wang gown with a jewel encrusted waist that defined her middle. She looked absolutely stunning from the photos. Proud mama Hilary Clinton, wore Oscar de la Renta.
Help me advance to the next round of the Neiman Marcus Passion for Fashion Style Contest. I get to attend Fashion's Night Out and a chance to win $5000. My two outfits are inspired by Washington, DC. Washingtonians love to work hard and play hard. In a town of dueling personalities (the politician and the entrepreneur), being conservative is our outside persona. Pearls are our best friend and so is the power color RED. The gala gal looks chic in romantic lace pumps primped with a bow, ravishing red frock and statement making pearls. It's elegant. For the gal about town whose day job is to schmooze and make deals, the Michael Kors Cashmere body suit and skirt combo is key. She knows how to cover up for day and vamp it up for night. A long black cashmere jacket is all we need for both looks to be perfected. We aren't a boring town, we just know how to cover it up well...Vote for me here
Launching on September 15th is the Rodarte for MAC Cosmetics makeup collection. The collection has sparked some controversy with a nail polish named Jaurez, after the dangerous Mexican town known for heinous acts against women. MAC Cosmetics said they are sorry to have “offended their consumers and fans, and committed to donating $100,000 to a non-profit organization that has a proven, successful track-record helping women in need and that can directly improve the lives of women in Juarez in a meaningful way.”
Ramona's Catherine Malandrino dress was sexy with a cutout back. She told us her new jewelry line for HSN is coming out in August. She is a real gem. She was at the Bridgehampton Polo Club/Mercedes Benz Polo Challenge opener last week.
She is as stunning and flawless as she appears in photos. No sign of Kanye.
